BLACK AND WHITE: Crow's Nest
This was done on canvas board, I used torn black and white scrapbook papers and Japanese newsprint, washed with acrylic. Painted the crow with black acrylic, added charcoal lines and distressed with an ink pad. Finished with a coat of poly.

Very nice. I love this! I especially like the bit of color that perfectly off-sets the black and white. Great job!

Very striking! I love the strong black silhouette of the crow against the softer background. Fascinating to read your process:>

Love the soft layers of the background against the harsh outline of the crow, gives it a lot of depth and interest, love it!

Being that you admire B. Davis this brings Crowhaven Farm to mind. Nice collage.
